With the dawn of 2008, we at Cloud 9 enter that "restful" period where the new wines are in the barrel, the vines are dormant, and the pace of life slows down - just a little bit.  This is the perfect time to visit our Murphys and/or Clarksburg tasting rooms and enjoy a little extended conversation with the staffs there.  If you cannot visit, this is also a great time to order wine online as the cooler weather means the wine is assured of arriving in pristine condition.

Far more than "just another pretty package (with an etherial name)," Cloud 9 produces two of the most distincitive wines on terra firma: Cloud 9 Composition - a revolutionary "cross regional" blend (grapes with their origins in two French regions as well as in Spain and Italy) and Seity - Zinfandel from Vineyard 1869 - the oldest Zinfandel vines in California.  On the pages of this site, we will communicate our philosophy of winemaking and introduce you to the manifestation of this philosophy in exclusive wines that are truly unique.  In the process, we hope to welcome you to the growing family of Cloud 9 fans.

Although we are a relatively new organization (started in 2002), our small team brings together over 180 years of experience in all phases of the wine industry.  This experience has taught us is the importance of focusing on you, our consumer.  We hope you see this focus in our customer service online, at our  tasting rooms in Murphys and our new location at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, and – most importantly – in the style and flavor of Cloud 9 Wines.
